This reality television show opens by stating that “The following is what happens when you give two degenerate gamblers their own TV show…”

Antonio Esfandiari and Phil Laak are long-time poker playing buddies and former roommates. They are great friends with a strong competitive streak at the poker table where they often take each other on not only for money, but for bragging rights. They have both become poker millionaires in the process.

Now, in I Bet You, their rivalry moves away from the felt and into the real world where they compete in real world challenges with thousands on the line. These guys get into trouble challenging each other in hilarious competitions making this TV show the ultimate in reality TV for men.

From their homes in California and Las Vegas these guys will travel as far as Miami, taking the ultimate American voyage as they tour the country looking for opportunities to make prop bets on any and everything imaginable.

Once the cameras get rolling, these guys start using their imagination in their new location and there is no telling what they will come up with next. Most bets are decided randomly and on the spot. The smaller bets start at about $500 with the larger bets getting as large as $5,000.

Each episode is guaranteed to have a large challenge bet worth $5,000 as well as many smaller random challenges that the guys decide on out of the blue. It makes for great high stakes gambling action and entertainment.

Big challenges for $5,000 include such challenges as surf competitions and dune buggy racing between Antonio Esfandiari and Phil Laak. These challenges will be decided on ahead of time, with these guys taking classes on the show as they try to learn their new skill before the competition, providing great blooper footage. Watch as they face off on the dance floor and try to outshine each other on the catwalk. Can you say ridiculous? Their antics will make you die laughing. There will be random bets for $1,000 or $500 during the show while these guys gear up for the big challenge. An example of a $1,000 bet is when they were getting ready for their surfing competition on the beach and they decide to flip a coin to see who had to ask a random man on the beach to rub sun tan lotion on the loser’s back. The Unabomber lost the coin flip and was sent running down the beach asking strangers to rub him down or risk losing $1,000. In the end, he found a willing participant; got his rub down and the Magician had to cough up the cash. Although the Unabomber “won” the challenge, it is doubtful that he left with his dignity intact.

There are also a bunch of random $500 bets placed throughout the episode. Some will include guessing the type of underwear a girl on the street is wearing to the price of the dune buggies that these guys are racing. Viewers will quickly realize that the world presents limitless gambling opportunities for those who seek them out and that nothing is sacred! Nothing!

These guys will do sperm count tests to prove who has the most machismo as well as lie detector tests to see who can bluff the machine.
